About RUSSY BABY PRODUCTIONS
Russ Lallier has lived in the Gunnison area since 1966. His interest in trains and history came from his father, who would take him to ride the Durango & Silverton and Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroads as a child.
Russ began working in radio at the young age of 6 years old, when he did ad spots for his family pharmacy, and DJ at KGUC, Gunnison from 1972-1976.  Next, he worked at KVLE from 1979 & 1980.

Russ got his first 35MM & 8mm cameras in 6th Grade, where he started working with the school yearbooks, and later taking photography classes in high school and at Western State College.
In 1986, Russ started as a DJ in Crested Butte the same time they got their first over-the-air public radio station, KBUT, where he was for 30 years.
He started Lake City's first public broadcast station, over the local cable TV reader board, Lake City Radio & Television, which he was Founder, Station Manager, and Chairman of the Board, for 3 1/2 years.

Russ worked in Emergency Services as a fire fighter and EMT for almost twenty years, and worked in radio and television for over 40 years.
After an injury in 2004, Russ was unable to return to work for over two years. During this time, Russ taught himself how to make films. The first train film was to be a 10-min. clip for the local museums, but has now turned into plans to make twenty films about the Narrow Gauge Railroad Operations of the Gunnison, Colorado area.
Russ currently lives in Almont, Colorado where still makes films, and was on the Gunnison County Historic Preservation Commission for two terms.  Russ currently can be found working in Crested Butte at the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum.

Russ has worked as a Production Manager, Stage Manager, Master of Ceremonies, Head of Security, Medical, and Booking Agent for bands like: The Subdudes, Sisters Morales, Dave Mason, Left Over Salmon, String Cheese Incident, Joe King Carrasco, the Marauders, Nicolette Larson, Nina Story, Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines, the Gourds, Guy Clark, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Los Lobos, Dave Bromberg, Joe Ely, and Crosby, Stills, & Nash.
